What is the UNICA ?
The association UNICA “Union Internationale du Cinéma“ is a member of the responsible UNESCO-council headquartered in Switzerland. The UNICA promotes noncommercial film productions for the purpose of international understanding. Dave Watterson is the president of the internationally staffed UNICA-committee. Which tasks does the BDFA have ?
The BDFA (Bundesverband Deutscher Film-Autoren e.V.) is a member of the UNICA and applied successfully in 2014 to play host to the WORLD MOVIE CONTEST 2017 in Germany.
